Nestled in a picturesque spot at the edge of a forest, at an altitude of 768m above sea level, our house makes a peaceful retreat in a hectic world. Find the perfect balance for your body, soul and mind and feel the invigorating effect of the many places of power in Gross Gerungs.


We offer a beautifully appointed apartment where you will feel at ease from the very moment you arrive. Mountain bike trails and a number of footpaths depart from the front door. And so do the waymarked cycle trails that suit all ages and ambitions.

Nature provides the best ingredients for a decent meal, so help yourself from the garden and forest: there are berries, mushrooms, herbs and potatoes to collect!

Our house is particularly suitable for families with children, who will have the time of their lives romping about in the large garden and exploring the secrets of nature.

Those who rise early will be rewarded with fabulous sunrises while having a delicious breakfast on the balcony.

We offer a beautifully appointed apartment where you will feel at ease from the very moment you arrive.

Winter specials: romantic rides in a horse-drawn sleigh, snow-shoe walks across picture postcard winter wonderland, followed by a glass of mulled cider.

In the time before Christmas there are Advent concerts and Christmas markets offering crafted items and culinary delights of the Waldviertel region.

The local cross-country skiing tracks suit all ages and ambitions.

For your little ones there is plenty of room to romp about and enjoy themselves.

Short services are held at the nearby chapel, and all the kids and their parents are welcome to participate.
