Küche ist super. Leckere Speisen für jeden Geschmack. Einkehr am Abend ist sehr zu empfehlen. Disco ab und zu nebenan. Ist leicht zu hören in der Nacht. Hat uns aber nicht gestört.

Description
The Jagawirt is a cozy country inn on the outskirts of St. Jakob (Defereggental Valley), at an altitude of 1,400 meters, and renowned for its regional and international food.
Together with the Alpina apartments (located across the street) it is a convenient starting point for walks and hiking tours in the Hohe Tauern National Park, as well as for summits higher than 3,000 meters which are comparatively easy to climb.
In addition to our comfortably appointed rooms and apartments motorcycling enthusiasts will love the scenic route to South Tirol across the Staller Sattel pass.
An unparalleled nature experience is also guaranteed for lovers of hunting and deerstalking: Accompanied by experienced local guides they may watch chamois, marmot and blackcock in their natural habitat. Dogs are welcome.
