Der Empfang und die Betreuung waren sehr herzlich. Die Unterkunft war sauber und geräumig. Die Kinder konnten im Stall mitarbeiten. Wir bekamen auch frisch, geerntetes Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten.

A warm welcome to the "Waira" farm

Come spend a great holiday in the romantic Yspertal valley.

Our peaceful farm is located in the heart of the southern Waldviertel hiking area.



Our family farm has many animals and is nestled between beautiful meadows and woods - a treat for your body and soul.

There is a playground with plenty of space for the little ones.
Everybody can help with the farm chores or just experience everyday farm life and taste the fresh milk.

Enjoy sitting by the campfire, indulge in mystical hikes, explore sacred rocks and druid places, visit the romantic Ysperklamm gorge or climb Peilstein mountain.

The nearby town (1.5 km) offers a great indoor pool, a swimming lake, indoor tennis courts and much more.

Leave bustling winter tourist resorts behind and spend the most precious time of the year at our farm in the untouched winter wonderland of the picturesque Ysper Valley!

Our house is set in the very heart of the Southern Weinviertel region, a highly popular destination for those who long for a peaceful and relaxing winter vacation.

Holidays in perfect tune with nature... snow-covered hills and trees, frozen streams and rivers, and peace and silence wherever you go.
Enjoy your holidays at a different pace and spend hours on end out in the open air, building snowmen, having snowball fights, sledding down the hills and romping about.

Let a perfect holiday come to an end... all the family gather around the table to play board games, read their favorite books, do handicraft or have a nice chat as they watch the candles burn down silently.

The town´s sports offer includes tennis, ice skating, curling, swimming (indoor pool and sauna) until late (11pm).

Winter highlight: Hiking tour to Peilstein (1061m) on New Year´s Eve.
