The Giant Ferris Wheel, one of Vienna's most striking landmarks, is located in Prater park, the recreation area at the heart of Vienna. The Wurstlprater amusement park with its many attractions, among them the ghost train and roller coaster, reflects Viennese gemutlichkeit. And the new Trade and Convention Center is just around the corner.

The Wurstlprater amusement park with its many attractions, among them the ghost train and roller coaster, reflects Viennese gemutlichkeit. And the new Trade and Convention Center is just around the corner. The Prater Avenue is the most frequented jogging and walking route at any time of the year, regardless of the weather and temperatures.
The district was named after Emperor Leopold, who was responsible for the first major expulsion of Jews in 1670. Tempelgasse street, the place of the former synagogue, now features a number of shops and restaurants serving kosher food, as well as Jewish schools.
Today Vienna's second district is one of Vienna's preferred residential areas. Following the increasing demand for housing, a number of deserted and ramshackle buildings were revitalized.
And besides, Praterstrasse was the home of Johann Strauss.
