The health resort of Aflenz is located on the south-facing side of the Hochschwab massif and has a pleasant climate thanks to its sheltered position.

As early as 1920 Aflenz was declared a climatic health resort and in 1979 it was awarded the "Medical Climatic Health Resort" award.

A double gondola connects Aflenz-Kurort with the Bürgeralm mountain and is thus the ideal starting point for wonderful hiking tours in summer and exciting skiing adventures in winter.

T-bar lifts and 3-person chairlift daily from 9am - 4pm,
