Aurach

The charming town of Aurach is a neighbouring town of Kitzbühel.

Aurach will give you lots of sunny hours and offers many sights. The tradional buildings in the village make it a Tirolean gem. Hike on themed trails and visit the gamepark. As it is situated in the middle of a ski area and as it offers direct access to cross-country skiing trails Aurach is the ideal holiday destination for the whole family in winter as well.

Tirol´s highest outdoor gamepark is located at an altitude of 1,100m. On an area of 40 hectars, guests can encounter some 200 animals including red deer, lynx, wild boars, yaks, Zebu cattle, marmots, wild ducks, pheasants, peacocks, ibexes and more.

The pretty town of Aurach is located 3km south of Kitzbühel.

With its 1,200 inhabitants, about 900 beds and many award-winning restaurants, our town in the Kitzbüheler Alps has maintained its traditional charm. Hundreds-of-year old farms, many of them practicing the organic approach to agriculture, make our town so very special. In addition, our farmers provide the local hotels and restaurants with their first-rate produce.
Because of its central location between Kitzbühel and Jochberg the Kitzbühel ski area is within eas reach.
