Welcome to the Bernhartsthal

The municipality Bernhardsthal exists since the the connection of the former villages Bernhardsthal, Katzelsdorf and Reintal.

About 60 km north of Vienna and directly at the northern railway, possibilities of relaxation and recreation at cycling, riding, boat riding, fishing, tennis, curling and asphalt curling and hiking tours through the Thaya Au woods are offered here.
A 25 ha large pond in the Bernhardsthal invites you to boat trips and fishing. Cyclists will find connections to various cycle paths.
Horse lovers have the possibility to discover the landscape on horse back along riding paths.

For those interested in history, the museum of local history (4000 years of settlement) as well as excursions to the nearby Liechtenstein castles in the Czech Republic are there for you.
