Holidays Bregenzerwald

The Bregenzerwald region
It's especially the outstanding scenery which our guests appreciate.
The green foothills smoothly merge into impressive mountain peaks of an altitude of up to 2,300 meters. Shady woods alternate with romantic river valleys. A myriad of paths lead to hidden mountain lakes and up to peaks which provide fantastic views.

One card - much variety
This is the best way to explore the most beautiful spots - and all this for free

Summer guests who stay in the Bregenzerwald region for three nights or longer between May and September, fully benefit from the Bregenzerwald Guest Card. The card entitles you to free rides on busses and mountain railways. Furthermore, it gives free access to a great number of swimming pools and baths.

Walking in the nature is the best way to let one's thoughts wander.

Around 2,000 km of perfectly marked hiking paths lead to the most picturesque spots and vantage points. On the many themed hiking trails, you can expand your knowledge on beauties of nature or the lives and works of renowned celebrities.

Throughout the summer, many villages offer programs for families and kids, ranging from visits to local farms to hiking tours and other physical activities.

From holiday apartment to hotel, the Bregenzerwald offers a great variety of accommodation!

Architecture & Cheese

This are two of the main treasures which the Bregenzerwald region has to offer. The Bregenzerwald region is quite well-known for its perfect blend of traditional and modern architecture. Furthermore, the spicy cheeses are appreciated all-around. The Bregenzerwald Cheese Street gives insight into the regional cheese culture. Sightseeing tours, tasting sessions and other events are offered throughout the year.

Tradition & Modernity
Music, theater, cabaret. There is always an event on the agenda.

The cultural program comprises both classical and modern events. One of the annual highlights is the Schubertiade Festival in Schwarzenberg in the Angelika-Kauffmann-Saal hall with is around 70 concerts and recitals. But the Bregenz Festival is also a very special highlight!
A true pleasure!
Skiing and snowboarding
