Etsdorf - Haitzendorf

 - Information & Lodging

A village with a long tradition of viticulture!

After renaming the municipality Etsdorf-Haitzendorf, the region now presents itself as "market municipality Grafenegg" since 2003.
The municipality, 29 km² large, comprises 8 village parts: Diendorf am Kamp, Engabrunn, Etsdorf am Kamp, Grunddorf, Haitzendorf, Kamp, Sittendorf and Walkersdorf.

The region is quite well-known for its well-tended viticulture. This is also reflected in the lively "Heurigen" wine tavern tradition of the community: One of the sights of the municipality is the cellar lane. Not only that you can always find open "Heurigen" there, but furthermore it is also one of the most beautiful of the country.
Visitors and excursionists love to use the many walking paths of the village leading past the idyllic wine taverns.
The whole community area is known for its mild and sunny climate typical of the southern Kamptal valley, and the long lasting experience of the local wine growers guarantees for top wine quality.

Apart from the wine culture, the community Grafenegg also offers cultural enjoyment. The castle Grafenegg, the castle Walkersdorf and the village centres will win every visitor with their picturesque charm.
