Fieberbrunn: Variety of traditions
It is the contrasts that make Fieberbrunn special: Majestic mountains and gentle valleys, modern lifts and traditional huts, hearty Tirolean dishes and international cuisine. Fieberbrunn has approx. 4,300 inhabitants and is the largest community in the Pillerseetal valley in the Kitzbühel Alps. The city is named after the emerald lake which attracts water fans looking for some refreshment with its crystal clear water. Excursions to lake Lauchsee right next to Fieberbrunn, the spectacular lake Wildseelodersee or the panorama via ferrata called “Himmel & Henne” (sky & chicken) are suitable for the entire family. The three ski resorts Fieberbrunn, Buchensteinwand and Waidring/Steinplatte make the winter season in Fieberbrunn definitely as exciting as the summer time.
