Holiday and recreation in the Tirolean mountains

Gerlos is a family-friendly village in the Gerlostal valley - a side valley of the Zillertal valley - and it is surrounded by the picturesque mountains of the Zillertal nature park and the Hohe Tauern national park. Many visitors like the mix of tradition, nature and many possibilities to stop by - Gerlos therefore is one of the most charming destinations in Austria. Due to the snow security at 1300 meters above sea level, the great diversity of activities offered and numerous events and festivals make Gerlos a popular place - plenty of possibilities for everyone. The only sight is the Baroque church with its onion dome constructed in 1735.
