The market municipality of Großgöttfritz (40.11 km²) is located in the heart of the district of Zwettl right in the center of the mysterious Waldviertel. Großgöttfritz comprises 8 municipalities.
The church and the charnel-house as well as 7 other picturesque chapels are really worth visiting. You can also discover the many fascinating aspects of this lovely region on excellent hiking paths, and enjoy a magnificent view from the 811 meter high Auberg look-out tower.
