Hall-Wattens Region – Dreamlike winter wonderland

Spend some marvelous winter days in the highly romantic Hall-Wattens holiday region. In the immediate surroundings you will find the unique Glungezer ski area with its immaculate slopes covered with natural snow only. A real winter wonderland for active families in search of unspoilt Alpine nature landscapes. The panoramic Glungezer ski mountain offers superb powder snow runs and wonderful natural snow slopes ideal for both skiers and snowboarders. One of Tirol's longest top-to-bottom ski runs – covering more than 15 kilometers – can be found here as well. Quaint mountain huts, traditional inns and fine restaurants give you a warm welcome after an adventurous day in the mountains.

Ski mountaineers and fans of ski tours are spoilt for choice. Besides sledding and tobogganing, guests can try a very special activity in the Hall-Wattens holiday region: "Klumper" tobogganing promises endless fun and reminds of winter days in long past times. Varied cross-country skiing routes are spread all over the area. All those who prefer a more leisurely pace are recommended to try winter walking, snowshoe hiking or ice skating. The natural landscape lends itself to fabulous winter sports. Among the very special highlights ranks the Igloo village on Glungezer where ten ice igloos can be found at 2600 meters above sea level, providing visitors with picture-book views of the surroundings Alpine summits.
