has first been officially mentioned in 1065 and is a typical wine growing community. Vineyards, cellar lanes, but also a fishing pond and surrounding woods mark the perception of the village. It invites you to go hiking. Cyclists are also welcome, several marked trails lead through the community area. In Herrnbaumgarten we love to celebrate parties (Schindergassenfest - every 2nd weekend in June). Especially remarkable is the Nonseum where scurrile and funny things are to be seen. Worth seeing is furthermore the parish church with a late-gothic wooden Madonna, the castle fountain and the Marien grotto.
