High up where marmots whistle, eagles circle overhead, mountain brooklets rush down into the valley and mountain farms are glued to the slope - that's where the Sellraintal valley opens up. A network of hiking trails takes you to more than 25 peaks that are higher than 2,000m and 20 peaks thats are higher than 3,000m.
A place of peace and quiet - soft tourism has started in the valley now. Cosy inns and alpine huts invite to leisurly breaks, first-class hotels offer you all amenities and for a perfect family vacation we offer you holiday apartments.
Our Holiday Villages
We are in the Sellraintal, a scenic valley that meets the needs of winter holidays to a high standard. Off-piste skiing or ski mountaineering, beautiful cross-country skiing tracks, cleared footpaths, lighted sled tracks, .... there is almost nothing you can´t do. The town offers plenty of friendly inns and après-ski bars, and is located within easy reach of Innsbruck where there are plenty of interesting sights and attractions.
