Lasberg is famous for its infinite number of outstanding hiking trails and walking paths. The little town has been officially awarded "Hiking Village" in the heart of the scenic Mühlviertel region.

Follow the tracks of Lasberg´s ancient history and discover an infinite number of traditional farmhouses, wayside shrines and little memorials, granite rocks and magic stones. Children and families are especially welcome! We create memories that will stay forever with your kids.

Not to be missed: The Culture Trail and the Stations of the Cross for children!

Enjoy a unique hiking tour on the tracks of ancient culture and old traditions. Among the region´s highlights are three outdoor museums, the Dornach Castle, the Augenbründl area at Buchberg mountain, the pillory, the judge´s sword and a lot more.

Children are accompanied by the lovely "market mouse" who will take them to the most adventurous spots of the entire region. The kids get plenty of information and are also invited to participate in the "mouse quiz". Miniature jute mice can be purchased at the local administration building.

An exciting Stations of the Cross trail for children is the perfect place to relax and unwind!

Winter at its finest ...

Yearning for a peaceful winter vacation far away from noisy tourist centers? Lasberg in the heart of the stunning Mühlviertel region is exactly what you have been looking for!

Both locals and guests meet at the frozen pond, a recreational area offering everything you could possibly desire: Alpine curling, ice skating or simply relaxing and unwinding. Especially on cold days you should try hot lemonades, tea or excellent mulled wine at the traditional "Lasberger Stüberl" inn.

Cross country skiing fans find an outstanding track leading along the scenic Feistritz brook. Nature lovers are invited to enjoy a relaxing ride across Mühlviertel´s snow-covered hills in a horse-drawn carriage. Yearly ice curling tournaments are organized.

White Fairytale Winter ...

A winter hiking tour across Mühlviertel´s white landscapes is a truly unique experience for the whole family. The traditional IVV Hiking Day is held in Lasberg every January.

Follow the medieval trail to the romantic Dornach Castle or make your way through the deep snow and discover the most romantic spots on your own, accompanied by the "market mouse". A winter hike across Lasberg´s white wonderland guarantees plenty of fun and action.
