The pilgrimage place of Maria Schmolln, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, looks back on a more than 260 year old tradition. Especially in May and October an infinite number of pilgrims from all over the country get together in order to worship the Virgin Mary.

Among the town´s highlights is the unique HUNTEL Dog Hotel run by the Bachleitner family. Dogs and dog owners can spend unforgettable and relaxing days in the heart of nature. Dog training units and seminars are organized by Barbara Bachleitner herself. Choose from a wide range of training lessions, agility courses, guided hikes, and a lot more!
