WELCOME TO OBERTRAUN!

A blanket of pure white snow glistens in the sunlight, and there is lots of snow down in the valley too. Those who love the snow have everything their hearts desire on the Krippenstein. Whether you are a downhill skier, love skiing off-piste or venturing out in your snow shoes, the Krippenstein is the place to be. The warm mountain huts are welcoming places to rest and enjoy refreshments. Beginner or professional skier, the Krippenstein has plenty to offer. Down in the valley there is a beautiful cross country ski trail which begins by the lake and passes through the Koppenwinkel Nature Preservation Area.
