The landmark of our community is the "castle" - a 4-tower water castle. Here, you can find the local information centre of the national park Danube Flood Plains as well as the event centre of the market municipality Orth.
A 2.3 km long trail, the Flood Plains nature trail, leads you through the river forests to the Danube river. It is a pleasant walk. You shouldn´t miss the various offer of the gastronomy in Orth. One delicacy is the "carp Serbian style".
As a new attraction, the original reconstruction of the ship´s mill at the Danube river has developed, which you can combine with a visit of the national park coffee ship.
