You´ll find the tiny rural commune of Pühret halfway between the towns of Vöcklabruck and Schwanenstadt.
The village area exhibits a predominantly rural landscape with farms, woodland and the six tiny hamlets of Altensam, Ennsberg, Lehen, Moosham, Pühret and Schlierberg. The economy of Pühret is heavily based upon agriculture.
The picturesque village of Pühret and the scenic surroundings are dotted by numerous Chapels, Wayside Shrines and Roadside Calvary. There are great remote trails for walking that put you close to these lovely cultural sights and attractions. The lovely scenery especially appeals to people who want to bask in nature.
