Pupping

Pupping nestles in the marvelous Upper Austrian Donautal valley, on the Danube´s shores, right in the center of the Eferdinger Becken basin. Witness to Pupping´s rich history are the Schaunburg ruins (Upper Austria´s biggest fortress), the Stauff ruins and the Peasants´ Revolt memorial in the Wilde Moos area. A great many of traditional inns and pubs prepare regional delights and local specialties featuring homemade farm products and fresh fish.
