The Rax cable-car operates the whole year round and brings you within ten minutes to the top of the Rax. This tour also leads you to the best shelters of the Rax, from the Rax mountain inn to Ottohaus, on to the Neue Seehütte and via the Trinksteinsattel to the Habsburgerhaus, the Karl-Ludwig-Haus, the Schlangenweg (path) down to the Waxriegelhaus and finally to the Edelweißhütte.
