Shady forest trails around the castle and cycling trails along the orchards invite young and old alike to outings into green nature.

The Rosalia bike trail and the family-friendly Koglradweg trail, a round course that takes you to Schattendorf, the "village at the border", offers botanic specialities and wonderful vistas. A net of mountain bike trails awaits you.

Lovers of horseback riding will find a multitude of farms: the "Mühle Pöttelsdorf" offers kids camps, the "Islandpferdehof" in Marz beginner's courses and youth riding weeks as well as guided rideouts into the surrounding region.
