Warth-Schröcken has an average of 11 meters of natural snow per year, thus ranking among the Alps' ski resorts with the highest snow reliability. The charming Walser village in the rear Bregenzerwald, surrounded by the mighty Arlberg mountains, makes an ideal base for unlimited winter holidays. Free skibus shuttles take guests to 340 kilometers of ski slopes and 94 mountain lifts. SCHRÖCKEN - a hot tip for winter sports fans and nature lovers
The small village Schröcken lies at the end of a valley in the Bregenzerwald on the foothill of the Hochtannberg mountain. A wide range of winter sports facilities and the traditional hospitality make Schröcken a very charming village - it's a great alternative to the neigboring villages on the Arlberg mountain. Stay in Schröcken, in a small pension, in an apartment or in a hotel and collect lasting impressions. The nearest access to the Warth-Schröcken ski area is at the Salober mountain, which you can reach by bus. You must not miss the 5km-long downhill run to Schröcken, on which you will pass the idyllically located Körbersee lake and get directly to the village centre.
