In the past, the picturesque town located on the shores of Steyr river was the center of knife production and trade. Today the modern holiday resort has been revitalized on the occasion of a special program developed by the local authorities and awarded by the corresponding European Committee in 1994. Steinbach offers an infinite number of highlights and attractions, ranging from traditional farmsteads and truly unique nature treasures to historic buildings and sights.
