Cozy little town offering a wide range of recreational facilities, embedded in the lush green meadows of the Hausruckviertel region.

Wendling is a lovely town situated in the heart of untouched landscapes with a unique plant and animal life. An infinite number of exciting events and entertaining highlights is organized throughout the year. Choose from a wide range of festivals, theater performances, religious processions and traditional parades.

The most remarkable local association is the Fire Department of Weeg who won a silver medal at the Firefighter Olympics in Berlin (1993) and two gold medals at the Fire Department Championships in Denmark (1997) and in Finland in 2001. Congratulations!
