In its interior this outstanding church features marvelous fresco paintings in the crypt area (going back to 1512) and the recently renovated, 300-year old organ with its picturesque decoration. The ancient church bell (weight: 100 kg) dates back to 1340. Altenberg is a must-see for culture and art fans!

The Windhaag Ruins are embedded in a little basin, only a few walking minutes from the town center. 700 years ago the splendid castle was built - unfortunately the building went to ruin over the years. For safety reasons it´s not allowed to enter the castle. Outside you find some beautiful and idyllic spots, ideal for a little break.
