143 km of ski runs and 51 state-of-the-art mountain railways and lifts make your winter holiday a very special one. You will enjoy skiing at an elevation of 2500 meters amidst the Tirolean regions of Zell and Gerlos, and - in the neighboring province of Salzburg - in the regions of Königsleiten, Wald and Krimml.
But it's not only skiing or snowboarding which makes the Zillertal Arena the number 1 winter destination! The two villages - Zell and Gerlos
Zell, at 580m above sea level, is located in the middle of the Zillertal valley and gives access to the Zillertal Arena.
Zell and the surrounding villages Gerlosberg, Hainzenberg, Zellberg and Rohberg offer 5800 beds for tourists.
Gerlos, at 1300m above sea level, is one of the highest-lying villages of the Zillertal valley and offers some 4000 beds. What's more, snow is always guaranteed in Gerlos!

The two villages - Zell and Gerlos
Next to Zell you find the wildly romantic Gerlostal valley. Two different worlds meet here: Zell is located in the central valley making an ideal starting point for excursions and short trips. In Gerlos you breathe fresh and clear Alpine while spending memorable days at the heart of the Alps.
Zell im Zillertal, the historic and geographic heart of the Zillertal valley, nestles at 580 meters above sea level. Together with the surrounding villages of Gerlosberg, Hainzenberg, Zellberg and Rohrberg, it offers some 5600 guest beds.
Gerlos at 1300 meters above sea level, is one of Zillertal's highest villages and has 4000 guest beds.
