Cross-Country Skiing in Flachau You can choose from a great variety of well-maintained nordic tracks, for example the 40km village track or the popular 50km Tauern track from Flachau via Altenmarkt/Zauchensee to Radstadt and Eben.
The cross-country skier is truly spoilt for choice here! Choose from a dense network of 220km of beautiful tracks of which 160km are linked. Filzmoos even boasts a high alpine trail which is accessible by "Papageno" gondola.
Become a professional alpine skier in no time at all ... but of course playful learning is the most important thing when learning to ski.
Fun & Action off the Runs! Snow rafting and snow tubing offer pure, exhilarating fun for all ages.
But these are only a few of the many activities available here! Plenty of guts are need for "zorbing": Imagine yourself suspended inside a ten-foot clear plastic sphere by nylon ropes, then rolled to the top of a steep hill and pushed off. No brakes, no steering, just you and gravity.
Sledding Sledding is as about as close to pure, unalloyed fun as a grown-up is allowed to get!
Flachau offers a great variety of fun sled tracks which will satisfy everyone: Sattelbauer track (4km), Winklalm track (3km), Munzenhof and Brennhütt´n (3km) and Winterbauer (3km).
