Winter in the Dolomite Mountains
Ski mountaineering is growing in popularity.
The Hochpustertal valley is ideal for beginners. There are no very high peaks and no difficult downhills, but rolling alpine pasturelands, alpine plateaus and small mountains.

A new ski mountaineering guide will be available in the Hochpusteral tourist offices in the 2010/11 winter season.
