Sillian is located at an elevation of 1,100 meters and is the main town in Osttirol's Hochpustertal Valley.
A state-of-the art continuous monocable gondola takes you from the outskirts of Sillian to Thurntaler mountain. The ski area has a gondola, two 4-passenger chair lifts and three T-bars. 45 km of well-groomed slopes and a snowboard terrain park are fun for young and old. The resort has a ski lift capacity of 10,000 skiers per hour. No lift lines. Three ski huts.
Sillian has a 100-km cross-country ski trail system. The "International" trail runs through Sillian in the section between Cortina and Lienz.
Other activities include snowshoeing, sledding, backcountry skiing and curling.
