Holiday on a farm is an association with 3,000 farm run concerns in Austria. Jointly we offer numerous packages - voluntary and at one's own responsibility - and for this reason we have set considerable quality levels.

"Holiday on a farm" guarantees you quality controlled, guest friendly genuine working farms.
A jury assesses our farms regularly in three categories:
1. Farm experience quality:
Living on a farm, farmer's products, animals on the farm, etc.
2. Quality of facilities:
Location of farm, external buildings, living quarters, holiday apartments, rooms, living comfort, size of rooms, cleanliness, etc.
3. Quality of service:
Breakfast and catering, leisure activity offers, information on offers for the guests, etc.
Incidentally: Animals on the farm, homemade butter, homemade marmelade and bread are standard nearly everywhere. Most are seasonal and subject to the size and location of the farm, or whether fruits, vegetables or wines are cultivated on the farm itself, or animals are reared on the farm. Also whether you are looking for comfort, or plain simple and homely accommodation.
Flower Categories
We assess on a basis of 2,3 or 4 flowers. These are guidelines to assist you in selecting the type of holiday you require with your wishes and requirements.
2 FLOWERS: homey rooms with functional furnishings on a farm located in natural surroundings.
3 FLOWERS: well equipped rooms or apartments on cozy farms, most rooms/apartments with en-suite facilities, comfortably equipped farmhouses.
4 FLOWERS: first class equipment and service, farms with high standards.
