Imster Schemenlaufen - Traditional Carnival Parade

On Sunday, February 12, 2010 the largest and most colorful ghost dance of the Alpine area will take place.

The preparations for this century-old spectacle whose mystic power one can hard resist last for months. The groups with hundreds of masks celebrate the victory of spring over winter.

Start: 9am
Parade: 12noon
Finish: 6pm, the masks fall when the bells ring and it will last another three years until a the next "real" carnival will take place in Imst.

On Jan 6 and every Sun at 8pm - rehearsal

> Feb 14, from 4pm - gathering of the vehicles
> Feb 15, from 9am - gathering of the participants, parade from 12pm
> Feb 16 - wild carnival
