Welcome to Tarrenz!
Charming Tarrenz is known as the "village of witches" in the entire area.
But you need not worry, the only things you will be enchanted by are the hospitality of the Inhabitants (called the "Tarreter") and the natural beauty you are about to meet.
It is true that witches used to rule the streets in Tarrenz. That is all a matter of the past, though, and nowadays the only magical thing about Tarrenz is its unique location in the heart of one of the most beautiful regions you are likely to see.
So what about the witches? Oh, let us not forget: You might see them with your own eyes in February 2013, when the Tarrenzer Fasnacht Carnival will take place again after four years!

Children's skiing special
As has been a tradition over the past few years, we will again host the popular skiing weeks for children aged 3.5 to 6.9 years.Highlights and activities include the following:
* "Magic Carpet" uphill facilities
* Separate entrance to the ski lift for children
* Children's ski race and presentation ceremony
* Free use of ski lifts within the framework of the children's skiing weeks
This offer is available from Dec 17 to 24, 2011; Jan 7 to 28, 2012; Mar 3 to 17, 2012.
Only valid for guests of the Imst region. Participating children must be older than 3.5 years and younger than 7. Minimum stay of 5 nights. You will receive the voucher upon presentation of the "Meldezettel" visitor registration form and photo identification.
The following services are included:
- 7 nights in a family room + breakfast
- 6-day family ski pass for the Hoch-Imst ski area
- 5-day ski instruction for children aged 3.5 to 6.9 years
- 1 ride on the Alpine Coaster (for all members of the family)
- Children aged 6 years or younger stay for free (sharing their parents' room)
