Pinsdorf

Pinsdorf, in quiet and peaceful location, is conveniently situated in immediate vicinity to Gmunden (picturesque Schloß Orth Castle), right in the heart of Upper Austria´s Salzkammergut region. In 1254 the town was first mentioned in historical documents.

Pinsdorf has a lot to offer, ranging from cultural highlights to truly unique nature treasures. Among them the famous Bauernhügel hill in remembrance of the Pinsdorf battle in November 1626, precious buildings with old façades and the wonderful parish church (Pinsdorf is an independent parish for more than 200 years).
