The market municipality Paudorf is situated in the lower Fladnitz valley at the eastern border of the Dunkelsteiner woods and comprises 7 local villages: Paudorf, Hörfarth, Meidling, Höbenbach, Eggendorf, Krustetten and Tiefenfucha. Size: 30 km²

Highest elevation is the Statzberg (580m), the lowest point amounts to 257m.

Viticulture has got a very long tradition and is still practised by numerous wine growers today.

A widely ramified network of hiking paths leads through the woods and vineyards of our community area. (nature trail to the mammooth trees, shrine path (Info in the municipal office). From the mountain top of the Waxenberg, the most beautiful view over the monastery of Göttweig can be obtained.

Several Heurigen taverns offer excellent wines and invite you to spend a few hours in cosy atmosphere.
