Located in the heart of Tirol, surrounded by the majestic Zillertal and Tux Alps, the Zillertal valley offers all lovers of mountains and nature need some 40 km east of Innsbruck / Inntal valley. The scenic Zillertal stretches From Strass to Mayrhofen on a total length of 32 km: here the Zillertal is divided into four idyllic side valleys - Zillergrund, Zemmgrund, Stillupptal and Tuxer Tal. Splendid Gerlos can be found east of Zell am Ziller.
Clear air, crystal-clear springs, rushing brooks, lush pastures with well-scenting herbs and breath-taking summit views of countless mountains beyond three thousand meters. The highest elevation is the Hochfeiler peak at 3509m above sea level.
