Kirchberg an der Pielach is a central location and shopping village of the inner Pielach valley.
Situated at an altitude of 372 m, Kirchberg is accessible via train (Mariazeller train) or car from St. Pölten via the main road B39 (about 25 km).
The 64 km² village with its 3.200 inhabitants is a true relaxation area of the alpine upland due to its dense woods, whether in the summer or in the winter.
Well tended inns, guest houses and private rooms with altogether 100 beds care for the well being of their guests. Of course, Kirchberg also offers the more and more popular "holidays at the farm".
Kirchberg is moreover a sport and recreational centre and offers a large heated lido with swimming, sport and children´s pool, 47m water slide, beach volleyball, large lawn for sunbathing, tennis courts, horseback riding, sauna and solarium, marked hiking paths, shooting stand, cross country ski-run as well as the 107 km long circle hiking path "Großer Pielacher Rundwanderweg" (large loop path of the Pielachtal).
