The community is also the ideal starting point for day excursions with train, ship, car or bike (2 mountainbike tracks or Danube bikeway), into the Wachau or the rest of the Nibelungengau.

The community Hofamt Priel formes the boarder of the Strudengau into the Nibelungengau and is a romantic place surrounded by woods. In higher spheres you have a great panoramic view of the Danube power plant (Ybbs-Persenbeug) and the castle Persenbeug down until into the alpine upland.
