Winter holidays at Hotel Kolbitsch are a perfect blend of activities in the Weissensee area and comfortable and friendly accommodation.
On the one hand there's the picturesque lake, nestled amidst a charming and unspoiled landscape. The Weissensee region to the south-west of Carinthia offers ice-skating, cross-country skiing and Alpine skiing and is one of its kind in Europe. The beautiful environment is perfect for a leisurely winter walk. It makes you calm and relaxed and helps you regain your energies.
The crisp and clean air virtually forces you to spend some time cross-country skiing, ice skating, speed skating, curling, Alpine skiing, Nordic winter walking, sleigh riding, ... What else could you possibly dream of? And, of course, you can always rely on the excellent service provided by the Kolbitsch hotel.
On the other hand, there is the charming Kolbitsch hotel nestled right on the lakeshores.... with a large wellness area and a lot more.
At our hotel there is a major focus on natural and healthy food and Austrian specialties. We use virgin oils, non-refined rock salt and fresh (or dried) herbs from the garden whenever possible.

... there's the friendly hotel on the shores of Lake Weissensee, with a spacious health and spa area and a private lakeside bathing and sunbathing area.
On the other hand...
... there's the picturesque lake, nestled amidst a charming and unspoiled landscape. Lake Weissensee to the south-west of Carinthia is the cleanest bathing lake in the Alps. Its drinking water (!) reaches temperatures of up to 25 °C in the summer and is perfect for swimming, diving, surfing, rowing or just splashing about. Two thirds of the lakeshores are still untouched and make for an unparalleled nature experience.
