The pilgrimage church and the Klostergasthof inn of Maria Waldrast (1,641m) are located on a foothill of the stunning Serles (2,718m) mountain, at about 6.5 km from the Brenner motorway. Easily accessible by car! A perfect oasis of recreation and starting point for countless walking or hiking tours to the surrounding mountains.
Nice get-togethers with families and friends guaranteed! Groups are welcome. We dispose of a large and sunny terrace. Excellent cuisine. Especially suitable family holidays, conventions and meetings, groups and workshops! The monastery inn sleeps 45 persons in 21 rooms equipped with all modern facilities, shower, WC, TV socket.
The monastery is an ancient and well-known Tirolean pilgrimage site consecrated to the Virgin Mary. Get some healing water from the well!
