From the center of Flachau by car to Flachauwinkl and on to the Marbachtal junction where you can park your car; from here follow the signposted trail along the shores of Marbach river to Vorderen Marbachalm (Prechtlhütte) and on to Hinteren Marbachalm (Ennslehenhütte, Anichhofhütte). Return the same way.

Lift assisted hiking to the Griessenkareck

Tour: village of Flachau - Star Jet I + II - War memorial - Grießenkareck - Saukarfunktel - Saukarkopf - Ahornkarkopf - Frauenalm - Flachauwinkl

Walking time: 5,5 - 6 hours

From Flachau center to the Starjet, lift ride to the Grießenkar (Starjet I + II), from the Gasthof Latschenhof further on the hiking trail no. 41 until your reach the ridge between Flachau and Wagrain, past the war memorial and the "Schneid" along the Grießenkareck (1,991m). Further via the Saukarfunktel (2,028m) to the Saukarkopf (2,014m), the last hilltop, the Ahornkarkopf lies at 1,923m, then further on to the Frauenalm (serviced) and further on to Flachauwinkl. From Flachauwinkl by bus or on foot via the forest trail no. 4 (approx. 1,5 hours) back into the village.

Day tour to the Lackenkogel

From the center of Flachau follow Sattelweg no. 2 to Sattelbauer; continue along no. 2 forest trail to Lackenalmen - follow this steep trail to the peak. Return the same way.
