MOUNTAIN HUTS, PASTURES AND "SCHWAIGEN"

A rest during a winter hike ...

... or to recover from skiing at one of the mountain huts of the Vienna Alps is the best opportunity to take in the magic, impressive mountain scenery around you.

Traditional bread with scrambled eggs and a "Jagatee" (tea with rum) are part of each winter excursion. A large number of traditional huts, pastures and "Schwaigen" (small mountains) invite you to rest and enjoy the snow-covered landscape over a hearty snack.
