The picturesque town of Afritz am See nestles on the shores of a small lake in Gegendtal Valley.

Apart from all kinds of water sports the region provides endless bicycle and mountain bike trails that wind their ways across gently rolling hills and high up the mountains. Dare-devils are welcome to speed the 2.1 km long, permanent downhill track!

Verditz is Afritz' most popular hiking area - an oasis of peace and relaxation - and easily accessible by three chairlifts even for those who prefer entering the stunning world of mountains at a more leisurely pace.
