The huge Zillertal Arena ski area comprises several provinces and valleys, offering 160 kilometers of immaculate ski slopes, countless snow parks, speed checkpoints, ski movie tracks plus absolute snow reliability throughout the winter season. The choice is really varied: nine ski and snowboard schools for the youngest guests, some 40 quaint mountain huts and inns serving local specialties, free skibus shuttles running between Zell, Gerlos, Wald, Krimml and Königsleiten. The two villages - Zell and Gerlos
Next to Zell you find the wildly romantic Gerlostal valley. Two different worlds meet here: Zell is located in the central valley making an ideal starting point for excursions and short trips. In Gerlos you breathe fresh and clear Alpine while spending memorable days at the heart of the Alps.
Zell im Zillertal, the historic and geographic heart of the Zillertal valley, nestles at 580 meters above sea level. Together with the surrounding villages of Gerlosberg, Hainzenberg, Zellberg and Rohrberg, it offers some 5600 guest beds.
Gerlos at 1300 meters above sea level, is one of Zillertal's highest villages and has 4000 guest beds.
