The gallery "Gorse" was founded 20 years ago. In 1973 France Gorce, a famous sculptor who was already 75 years old at that time, bought the Vrbnik farm at Suetschach. He converted the farmhouse into a stunning gallery and exhibited his sculptures and works made out of wood, clay and bronze. Since the sculptor´s death in 1986 the Slovenian Culture Association in Suetschach/Svece is looking after the gallery and the exhibitions.
