Ötztal

The Ötztal is famous for its glaciers and over 250 peaks that are more than 3,000 meters high.

The valley’s main destination is Sölden with its outstanding glacier skiing on Rettenbach and Tiefenbach. 34 ski lifts, 3000-meter high peaks, 150 kilometers of slopes and superb snow conditions throughout winter make skiing and snowboarding here a unique experience.

The Ötztal Alps also make for first-class hiking and rock climbing. New is the Ötztal Trek, which consists of 22 stages with a total elevation gain of 30,000 meters and 15 different options for hikers and rock climbers. Mountain bikers can choose from 860 kilometers of designated trails.
