First time visitors to Gosau are overwhelmed by the exceptional beauty of the landscape. It is hard to believe that people really live here in this region, which is 700 metres above sea level, and is surrounded by rugged mountains.
Discover Gosau from a new perspective. This winter, for the first time, horse-drawn sledge rides are available by night. Depart 18.00 on Tuesdays from Tourist Information in Gosau. Journey through snow-covered fields and meadows to the Kohlstatt Hut in Vordertal. Feel the cool winter air in your face, and hear the sound of the horses' hooves in the still of the night as you sit in your sleigh wrapped up in blankets. In the hut you will enjoy delicious hot snacks and warming drinks before we continue our journey back to Gosau.
