The Salzkammergut also offers countless modern ski areas, including the largest family ski area (Dachstein-West: 140 km of slopes), Upper Austria’s longest ski slope (Obertraun-Dachstein-Krippenstein: 11 km of slopes) and Tauplitz (40 km of slopes). The Salzkammergut is known for its reliable snow conditions and expansive freeride terrain.
The Freesports-Arena Krippenstein boasts an incredible 11-kilometer long and ungroomed slope for exhilarating skiing and riding fun.
