The 5 villages of this charming municipality are nestled against the idyllic Vienna Woods at the south-eastern border of the basin of Tulln. From the Leopold Figl look-out tower on top of the Tulbingerkogel, the highest elevation of the district of Tulln, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mighty Alps and the breathtakingly beautiful Danube Valley.
Our guests can find excellent gastronomy operations, ranging from simple local inns and Heurigen to a 4-star-hotel-restaurant.
In the sunflower park of Tulbing, you can watch thousands of mighty sunflowers on an area of 20.000 m² during the months of July to August; ranging from light yellow to dark red, and from 50 cm "dwarfs" to 4 m high giant sunflowers.
During the first half of December, the annual wine baptism takes place, having gained in popularity far across the country´s borders.
